If you don’t have a reservation you can order a bucket of chicken to go at the bar. Try the purple drink (“Empress 75”) while you’re waiting.
So worth it. And the locals look like they’re having a lot of fun at the bar.
If you’ve had enough rich food and just need dinner, tacos de barbacoa to go are hard to beat.
If you haven’t had enough rich food, go here and start with the raviolo.
You just haven’t lived until you’ve seen two dusty, burly guys sit down at the bar here and order “bubbles and rillettes”. Wonderful place.
It’s fun to eat outside here, and the tri-tip dinner is a bargain.
Not fancy, not expensive, and not in Yountville. This burger place in Napa is unassuming and excellent.
