The owner was very easy to communicate with. Clearly, she has thought long and hard about equipping this home. Meticulously clean and uncluttered, it is fully stocked with almost everything brand new, from quality dinnerware to plenty of sheets and towels. Thoughtful offerings included a tool set, a sample of office supplies, and puzzles for leisure time. My husband and I ordered a matching set of beach towels after using them when we used the Community Pool, which was steps away and very welcoming and private. The spa there was crystal clean.
The living room has a great “landing zone” with nifty plugs in the console table for recharging phones, etc. Patio areas in both the front and rear of the unit are very pleasant and comfortable. Parking is available on this cul-de-sac street, as well as in garage and driveway spaces.
The laundry area in the Garage is very clean. Vacuum cleaner, step ladder, and a variety of other things may not be a necessity, but were used more than a number of times over our period of rental. Bathrooms are immaculate and offer good storage areas. There’s a set of cabinets/drawers off the hallway that we used as storage for some of our items that we didn’t want to see all the time. Very useful.
The best restaurants are minutes away in a car, and not much more time to get there by walking, which is through a very lovely and charming neighborhood. Yountville hosts many events of music in the park, and it’s a great place to people watch.
No, I’m not a friend or relative of this owner. We rented this property because a house that we gutted was not yet ready for occupation, and we gladly would have continued our rental if it wasn’t already booked by another renter. My husband and I own multiple very large homes around the US, and pride ourselves at creating a very welcoming environment when our guests visit us. Sometimes, when renting, the photos on the website are “too good to be true”, and often are, once you arrive on property. What you see is what you get with Nala’s Yountville, which for us, was a nice bonus.
PS…..we did, in fact get greeted by Nala, the first day of our visit. She is truly the most friendly little cat I’ve ever met!
